If it’s any consolation, you are not alone. One of my biggest pet peeves are delayed replies, even from those who are close to me. It’s rare to come across someone else who feels the same way I do. I’m not sure if there is a solution. All you can do is control how you react to others. So, what both of us need to learn is not how to change the way we communicate (because let’s face it, this is ingrained) but rather how we react to others who don’t reply in due time.
