So what we have to learn to do is to accept the love we aren’t given. To realize that although we put someone on a pedestal, that does not mean that their judgment determines us.

We have a tendency to exacerbate relationships by the way in which we categorize them as good bad or ugly, and yet, for some reason, no matter which way we go, we always want to hold on for just a little bit longer.

City lights on the street after it just rained.

Loving someone more than you love yourself.

Chase drinks and dreams, not people.

Realizing that you deserve more than somebody has to offer is unbelievably empowering.

Running from the sadness is what will exhaust you, not feeling it.

If you have to question it that much.

7. It is a mistake to think that hell is drifting and heaven is steering. We usually don’t know where we want to go anyway.

To have direction and vision in your life is what will propel you forward, it is what you find when you’ve found yourself.

Your body is a vessel for your experience, and you will be trapped until you realize that what the vessel looks like is not as important as what it can do.

This “life” business is a constant evolution, and if you don’t pull art and love and writing and everything else that’s beautiful out of yourself it will simply pass and dissolve.

There are few things that come without pros and cons, things you lose while you gain, and choices that leave other avenues unexplored.
